About us

Our first Longstore restaurant opened in 2016 inside a renovated sail loft, overlooking the tall ships of Charlestown Harbour.

From day one our focus has been to deliver the very best kind of service – attentive yet relaxed – and all about you. Walk in from the historic harbour front to be met with a friendly welcome, buzzy atmosphere and the smack of tempting aromas. Our plentiful plates and bountiful pours will thrill your tongue, while the setting and service will complete the experience to make it truly special.

If you fancy it (and let’s face it, why wouldn’t you?) you can drop in first for a tipple at The Winestore, our cosy den just below the restaurant, which is bursting with a selection of hand-picked wines, local beers and spirits. With thoughtful lighting, soft seating and a calm ambiance, the space lends itself perfectly to a cosy catch-up with friends or a pre-dinner snifter alongside flavour-packed small plates.

Further down the county in the handsome cathedral city of Truro, you will find our latest restaurant – The Longstore Lemon Street, a charismatic gem set within a refurbished Georgian Townhouse. The potted shrimp walls and sage trim are studded with polished brass fixtures, lighting the space with effortless grace. The glass atrium above is filled with glinting handmade oyster chandeliers, reminiscent of our Charlestown restaurant which boasts similar unique centrepieces by Cornish ceramicist Sarah Hunkin.
